Website operation
By accessing the Óptica HM website freely, the user accepts the Terms of Use and Operation of the website and is informed, during the visit, about the personal information temporarily collected and preserved.
The user acknowledges being informed and authorizes the collection of data by Óptica HM.
Óptica HM guarantees that it will make every effort to present updated and reliable information and content on the website. However, it does not assume any guarantee for typographical errors, out-of-stock or other omitted or inconsistent information.
Óptica HM is not responsible for any direct or indirect damage caused by the dissemination by a third party of a virus or through another link, which may affect the computer system or other device used to access the website to browse, download or others.
Óptica HM's website may contain links or connections to other sites managed by third parties, and Óptica HM is not responsible for these sites.
Óptica HM reserves the right to temporarily suspend access to the website without prior notice for reasons of maintenance, repair, improvements or other updates it deems necessary.

Newsletter and Email Marketing
The user, by indicating his e-mail address, accepts and authorizes the Terms and Conditions of Óptica HM, as well as the collection of data by the company for the production and personalization of contents to be sent through Newsletter or E-mail Marketing .
Furthermore, the user authorizes the sending of personalized content, such as campaigns, offers, discounts, institutional information and/or other advertising content.
Orders
To place an order, the customer can register on the Óptica HM website.
The order will only be confirmed after payment is successful by the customer. The item will only be reserved for 48 hours after the order is placed, being validated and sent after payment.
In the case of orders for prescription products, such as contact lenses, the order confirmation indicates that it was prescribed to the customer by a qualified technician, and Óptica HM is exempt from any responsibility for the misuse or inappropriate use of the product purchased.
After payment confirmation, orders are processed. The customer can choose between receiving the order at the indicated address, with additional shipping costs based on weight and destination, or picking up the order at the store, at no additional cost.
Orders are shipped via selected carriers. Whenever applicable, the customer will be able to track the shipment of the order using the code sent by Óptica HM as soon as the order is shipped.
Delivery times may vary from 2 to 3 business days for mainland Portugal. Deadlines vary according to other destinations, such as the Islands.
All costs associated with customs or other fees are the sole responsibility of the customer.
Stock
If for any reason an item is out of stock, either due to a system error or high demand, the customer will be notified of the product's unavailability.
In these situations, the customer may choose to wait for the item to be back in stock or request a refund of the amount paid, which will be made by bank transfer.
Prices and Discounts
The prices and discounts shown on the website are valid only for online purchases, except for campaigns or general promotions that may also be available in physical stores.
The different promotions or price discounts are clearly indicated on the products in question, together with the effective date of the promotion or discount. To enjoy, the customer must complete the purchase within the established period.
Exchanges
In case of product return, the customer must contact Óptica HM support, via email geral@opticahm.com and follow the instructions given.
Exchanges of defective products require technical confirmation. In case of an exchange, the customer will not have additional costs and will receive a new product, returning the previously received one.
For exchange, the customer must send the product received to the Brand Headquarters: Rua Doutor Fausto Soares, 16A, 3400-132, Oliveira do Hospital. The product must be delivered in its original, undamaged, reusable packaging, as well as its contents (also undamaged) and accompanied by a copy of the invoice.
After technical validation, the customer will be contacted by assistance to confirm or not a manufacturing defect. In case of confirmation, a new product will be sent at no additional cost. In case of exchange, the customer will not incur shipping costs.
In the case of a product with a manufacturing defect, the customer is entitled to a guarantee in accordance with Decree-Law No. 84/2008 of May 21st.
Returns
In case of product return, the customer must contact Óptica HM support, via email geral@opticahm.com and follow the instructions given.
The deadline for returning a product is 14 days after receipt by the customer. The return must be made at the store or by sending it to the Brand's headquarters, Rua Doutor Fausto Soares, 16A, 3400-132, Oliveira do Hospital, with the shipping costs to be borne by the customer.
The return must be made in the original, undamaged, reusable packaging, as well as its contents (also undamaged) and accompanied by a copy of the invoice. After returning, the order will be analyzed by a technical team and confirmed to the customer if accepted within a maximum period of 15 days.
The refund of amounts paid occurs within 20 days after the return and, after confirmation of the status of the item received, as well as confirmation of the order received. Returns are made via bank transfer.
Returns are valid only for purchases made through the online store.
Assists
After-sales assistance can be provided at one of Óptica HM's physical stores, via the email geral@opticahm.com or the helpline: 238 603 300.
In case of assistance, the customer only pays half the cost of the same, regardless of the time of purchase, as long as the item was purchased with Óptica HM.
Guarantees
Warranties can also be requested at one of the physical stores or via email support. In the event of a confirmed warranty, if the item has a manufacturing defect, the customer will receive a new one at no additional cost.
Online store
The website's Terms and Conditions apply to the Online Store, as well as the Privacy Policy.
For more information, the user should consult the General Conditions of Sale present on this website. Portuguese law in force applies to all purchases made at the Óptica HM Online Store.

Complaints and Dispute Resolution
